A total of 1.6 million cubic meters was exported to Ukraine on Thursday via the Grebenyky junction on the Moldovan-Ukrainian border. A company is thought to have reserved its monthly import capacity at the border through the RBP regional auction platform. The gas will be injected into Ukrainian storage facilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>A source close to the matter told ICIS that Moldova plans to inject 100 mm into Ukrainian warehouses in October and November and harvest its volume in January.<br \/>\nExit capacity is provided by the Ukrainian transmission system operator GTSO.<br \/>\nThe GTSO now offers capabilities at all borders covered by association agreements, including agreements with Russia.<\/p>\n<p>This was the first time that volume was exported from Moldova to Ukraine on the Trans-Balkan line.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionally, gas was exported from Russia to southeastern Europe via Ukraine and Moldova.<\/p>\n<p>However, with the end of the long-term transit agreement between Ukraine and Russia and the change in the volume of Russian gas from the Trans-Balkan line to the newly launched TurkStream corridor, flows can now occur bilaterally and create trade opportunities between countries.
